UPDATES. VERY BIG UPDATES.

Alright guys, the album has been fully written. All that needs to be done is have some crappy lyrics changed into good ones, some re-recording of old demos, and figure out how the hell I'm going to get it printed.
I do have a little present for you guys though - The tracklist :)

Tracklist for Fever Embrace is as follows:

1. Paper Plane
2. Starving Children (previously known as Fireskies)
3. Toads
4. I'm Dancing
5. Dress
6. Future Winds
7. Take Violence
8. Sleeping Bed Machine

-Some title names may be subject to change. The album clocks in at around 35 minutes, so it's not exactly a Mars Volta record, but I'm not insane, so I'll stick with an average LP running time. I'm not exactly sure when you will be able to hear it but I'd say in about a month or two's time. Depending on how motivated I am.

-I've written a good deal of songs that for one reason or another, would not fit on the album, not due to the quality of the song, but rather it's place in amongst the rest. So I may or may not be posting some of those B-Sides over the next couple of months until the LP's release.

-I have decided to go under the performing title of Missouri. So this release will be under the Missouri name. And in case you haven't already noticed (which I'm sure you have), the album will be entitled Fever Embrace.

Have a nice day.

This is a part of something I've been working on recently. Seeing as I have no music to post (and I really wish I did, but I've been lazy lately), I thought I'd post this little bit of writing. It's not much, but it's something at least. And yes, I realise how morally vile this work is. If I turn a few heads, my work is done. This is not to say however that this is written purely for shock value, while I have nothing to testify against that at this point, but I will, soon enough.
Also, this comes from absolutely NOWHERE in my past. So don't get too disturbed.
Here it goes:

My sister is a slut. There's seldom a night where I can't hear her yelping approbation to the Goliath penetrating her every orifice. I see her every day, her squalid pussy, the cum on her eyes. A menacing little harlot at the age of fourteen, (myself being born five years prior to her, on nigh the same date) she studies hard, (Annabelle, her name is Annabelle) it pays off I suppose. When I was four years of age I was given the privilege of beholding in all it's sweat and uncultivated glory the lascivious conception of my darling little sister. The fleshy, lazy Sunday. I watched in silent curiosity (and bizarrely precocious reverence) for thirty minutes my father's phallic slipping and sliding into and out of my mother's enthusiastic and experienced womb. Two horses in a gallant and powerful dance, enveloping their souls. My vehement repulsion still manifests itself in daily masturbatory sessions and vomiting before entering school grounds.

Have a nice day.

Hey Liam.

Sometimes I think I have to be depressed to be interesting.

I know, it looks like I'm not doing anything, but I am. I'm just taking my time. I might post a cover up or something soon for old times sake (I'm thinking maybe a Vashti Bunyan or a Beatles tune?), seeing as I'm rather unwilling to reveal anything from Fever Embrace. Although I finished my centre-piece for the album (hooray?), a ten minute ode to all of my psychadelic idols while still being in the same vein as the rest of the album. It might be a little while before anything exciting happens on this blog but when it happens, it'll make up for it. I think?

Have a nice day.

-I see it, the monolith staring at me with horizon in it's eyes, the time machine, the aeroplane.

NEW BLOG

I've started a music blog where you can read an occasional album review that I've written. I just wrote one, so y'know. Read it. Bitches.

http://www.musicvita.com/networking--community/the-musicvita-blog/sportsbrother.html

I hope you're all okay, the album is in the works, so it's not like I'm inactive.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for today, I'm putting a lot of effort into these album reviews so I'd really appreciate it if you read them. Although I can't push anyone.
Have a good day.

It Starts Here.

Well for the very few of you that have actually been curious as to what my album is going to sound like, this should give you a hint.
It's really rough, and I'll perfect it soon, but I couldn't resist rushing a post because it feels like I haven't done anything productive in a while.
This is a really really big deal for me guys, so please, put in your two cents and comment? PLEASE.

Anyway I really really hope you enjoy it, and I hope it gives you an idea of the kind of album I'll be making.

Oh, and by the way, the album is going to be called Fever Embrace :).

Have a good day!
